Seoul Scholars February College Info Sessions

From February 23rd to February 28, Seoul Scholars hosted College Information Sessions with four high ranking universities in the United States and Canada: University of Minnesota, University of British Columbia, Duke University, and University of Washington. The information sessions followed the below schedule:

• February 23rd: University of Minnesota (In-Person)
  #69 National University, #25 Top Public School, #15 in Business Programs, #25 in Engineering Programs
• February 26th: University of British Columbia (In-Person)
  Top ranking Canadian University, #27 World University
• February 27th: Duke University (Skype)
  #9 National University, #20 in Engineering Programs, #4 in Biomedical
• February 28th: University of Washington (Skype)
  #56 National University, #18 Top Public School, #24 in Business Programs, #20 in Engineering Programs

The participation rate was high for each information session– around twenty students showed up for each session. Students had the opportunity to learn about each university, its admission process, programs, school culture, and so on. Each information session ended with a Q&A session, where many students had time to ask questions to the representatives. The questions included topics such as admissions, dormitory life, finances and scholarships, university programs, and student body.
Students who attended the information sessions were able to gain valuable information. All students are encouraged to attend college information sessions, as they provide great opportunities to learn more about each university directly from admissions representatives.
