SSI Daechi College Fair | Students Share University Admissions Experiences and Academic Journeys

On April 24, SSI Daechi hosted a special event, the College Fair, where senior students shared their university admissions experiences and academic journeys with younger students.

What made this year’s fair special was that it was planned and led by the seniors themselves. They created booths based on their future universities and fields of interest, including STEM, Social Science & Policy, Psychology, Business/Economics, Art, and Asia-focused Universities

Throughout the event, younger students freely visited booths that matched their interests and had direct conversations with seniors. They asked questions such as, “When did you decide on your major?” and “What do you think was the strongest part of your application?” These questions led to honest and helpful discussions about academic planning, extracurricular activities, and the college application process.

Rather than focusing only on admission results, seniors shared real stories about their journeys — from exploring possible majors and balancing schoolwork with activities to learning more about themselves along the way. For younger students, the fair offered practical advice, motivation, and a clearer picture of how they can begin preparing for their own future paths.

The College Fair reflected SSI Daechi’s supportive learning community, where students grow not only through guidance from teachers and counselors, but also by learning from one another. SSI Daechi will continue to create student-centered opportunities that help students connect, inspire each other, and grow together.
