Minjun Noh(8) Showcases Growth Through Meaningful Extracurricular Activities in Music and Cultural Heritage

Minjun Noh(8) has actively participated in meaningful extracurricular programs, gaining valuable experiences that have contributed to both his personal growth and skill development. Through long-term commitment and hands-on learning, he demonstrated curiosity, perseverance, and a positive attitude toward new challenges.

One of Minjun’s notable experiences was his participation in the “Everyone’s Dream Tree Orchestra (누구나 꿈나무오케스트라)”, where he played the viola for an entire year and successfully earned a certificate of completion. His interest in the orchestra began when his sister joined the program first and shared how enjoyable it was. Encouraged by her experience, Minjun decided to join as well.

Throughout the program, Minjun practiced the viola consistently and worked hard to improve his musical skills. One of the most challenging parts was learning how to play in harmony with others, which required patience and repeated practice. Through this process, he learned not only how to play the instrument, but also how to listen, cooperate, and perform as part of a team.

In addition, Minjun successfully completed the Youth Cultural Heritage Guide Program (청소년 문화유산해설사 과정), earning another certificate through his dedication and effort. This program allowed him to deepen his understanding of Korean cultural heritage while developing communication and presentation skills as a young guide.

Minjun prepared for the program by practicing extensively and focusing on staying calm during presentations. His personal “secret weapon” was learning not to panic when making mistakes. Instead of stopping, he continued confidently to the next part—an approach that helped him guide smoothly and gain confidence. When he passed the final assessment, Minjun felt proud and excited to take on the role of a cultural heritage guide.

Through these two experiences, Minjun has shown steady growth in responsibility, confidence, and teamwork. His willingness to challenge himself beyond the classroom reflects a strong foundation for future learning. We encourage Minjun to continue exploring new opportunities and look forward to seeing how his passion and dedication will shape his journey ahead.
