We are proud to share that Dawool Kim(11) has been awarded the Bronze Medal at the 5th IYAC Global Youth Art Contest, recognizing his creativity, dedication, and artistic growth.

Dawool decided to participate in the competition out of a deep appreciation for how art allows individuals to express ideas and emotions in powerful and imaginative ways. 

To challenge himself and make the most out of his abilities, he saw this contest as an opportunity to grow as an artist while exploring new styles and techniques.

One of the greatest challenges he faced was maintaining patience and motivation during long hours of preparation. Art requires time, focus, and persistence. By reminding himself of his goals and concentrating on steady improvement, Dawool was able to stay disciplined and committed throughout the process.

Beyond artistic technique, the experience also taught him valuable life skills. Balancing preparation with academic responsibilities required strong time management and organization. He learned the importance of maintaining focus and dedication even during busy and stressful periods.

When the results were announced, Dawool was genuinely surprised. He described the very moment as shocked, proud, and deeply grateful all at once—a meaningful moment that reflected the hard work and passion he invested in his project.
